Default Oznium full third brake light fitment issue...

Hey guys Im having a difficult time getting my Oznium FTBL to fit perfectly. On the sides it is not completely flush. Ive tried pulling it out and putting it in 3 times and the two ends always stick out a bit :-(. To make matters worse I broke one of the threaded studs on the right side so that side will never be perfect but I atleast want the left to be good but I just cant get it. Any one know what to do?

I would take some pics and contact Oznium... they should be able to help you out.

I PMed Oznium, I'll see what he says. I need to get a better camera than my phone if i want to take a pic of where it sticks up because if you take two large steps away from it you really cant tell. But if you get up close it touch it, it becomes quite evident.

Didn't you have issues installing your BlueBat overlays? Now you're having issues with your Full TBL?
Here's a thought; maybe you shouldn't do your own installs anymore. (I keed, I keeed.)

I see you have an '08. Maybe that's the issue (though highly unlikely they'd change the TBL size vs. the rest)....just a wild guess....any other 08s out there w/ Oznium's TBL???

I have an 08 and don't have a problem with the light fitting. I did have the same problem with screws though and I didn't get the garnish back on very well so there is a slight gap between the light and the garnish on the left side. If you didn't know it was there it looks good.

^^Anytime I take off the front and rear bumper, or any of the interior pieces (ex. waterfall), I always find a gap when I put them back. They are really noticeable to me because I'm totally ****. Other peeps in my car can't tell.

me too...Back when I took my front bumper cover off to install my Hellas and the VRDs, after I put it back on I noticed it was off by maybe a few mm...oh well, it wasn't noticeable to anyone else but me

well I must say I am just ultra impressed with oznium's customer service. I cantacted Phil at Oznium and he is sending me a replacement FTBL. Now you just can't bear service like that. Really, what a great guy. I'll have to write a great review for him in the buyers/sellers experience forum when I get it :-).

just installed mine a week ago and fit perfect. but i've heard other people that have had minor issues talk to them and they would exchange or fix them. only thing is i don't know if they would be willing to exchange since you broke something on it.
