Interesting color too... a metallic. Have you used it anywhere else on the car?

I took the parts and wiped them down with rubbing alcohol. Then I sanded the pieces down lightly with fine sandpaper. Cleaned the dust off, and rubbed it again with alcohol. Then I let it dry and applied very light coats, every 10 mins. I put about 5-6 coats on.

Thats basically it, not much involved.

I used Duplicolor Metal Specks spray paint, the color is called Retro Red.

alright, lets take a look at my color coded chart

alright you start off with the green section, you pull this up towards heaven.

after you get that loose, you start with the blue, you pull this towards you..you might need to pull a little hard, it will come off.

as soon as that comes off, d/c the cig plug in the back, and wolla, its off.

now for the top section.

start by pulling the yellow towards you, it will pop off with a little bit of force.

now finish by pulling the purple outwards, it should be easy at this point. just d/c the a/c harness in the back and its out.

if you need more help just holler

oh yea! if you have an auto put the shifter into L, if a manual, put it into 4th or something

I took them off and then I masked everything off. I took out the a/c buttons, when u flip the a/c controls over, you can take it off. just take your time and you'll be set. I masked off the entire center, the vents, the radio cover, the a/c controls.
