Default Parking/Corner Lights

Ok. I'm looking to replace my Parking lights and Corner lights.

For my corner lights, I am looking for either a White or Blue finish (when the lights ARN"T turned on). I want to try and make it LEGAL so don't let me do anything Illegal.

Also, I'd like to change out my Parking lights. I would really like to have the blue, but I know that would be Illegal and I don't want to get pulled over. So, is there any HID type look that I could acheive by putting a bulb in there. Certainly, I'm not talking about the HID light output, just the color/tint. What would you suggest replacing the Parking light bulbs with that I could tell the difference with, when looking at the front of my car.

Also, would I be able to pick up these bulbs at my local Autozone and Pepboys tomorrow? If so, what would I be looking for / tell the cashier there.

Thanks again for all your help!

PS- If anyone has any pictures that would be great!

Do u mean ur turn signals as ur "corner lights"??? For ur parking lights you definately want to go LED, and ur local store will have them but not in great variety so its best u buy off a website like www.autolumination.com or www.superbrightleds.com. They carry all kinds and have fast shipping!! I would say go with the super white LED for ur parking light, which is 194 size. This will give u a bright white look with a tint of purpleish/blueish looks kinda cool.

the parking lights are a 194 i believe. they make them in LED. you can get pretty much any color you want. when your headlights are on they arent really visible unless you're up close to them. as for the corner lights the orange reflector is there so that would be pointless. unless you're talking about the turn signal lights. you can get those at your local auto zone or something

Ok. I've heard about the LED overheating and melting very fast.

Would this happen if I bought Super White LED for my parking lights.

And yeah, for Corner lights I meant turn signals.

Does anyone know if it is legal to have White/Amber colored TURN SIGNAL lights in North Carolina? I can't seem to find a site that gives me a Yes or No answer.

Depends on what your local vatozone stocks or pep boys stocks.

What they carry varies by region, so we can't really say if the bulbs will be there or not.

Look around for 194 bulbs, but if they're not there, try cardomain.com's store.

I know they have blue bulbs that light up white, and I think I've seen blue bulbs that light up amber.

The 'turn signal lights in the headlights are 7440's. Check my profile to see what chrome bulbs look like in there.

If you mean the furthest edge of the headlight, that's covered by a reflector, so it doesn't matter what color bulb you have in there--you're better off just leaving it clear.

Well ive been running white LED's and 8K HID's for almost 5K miles and no problem yet. Sure it gets hot but should not "melt" anything. LED's are supposed to run 100x more cooler than regular halogen anyways. And yes amber is legal everywhere, white is also legal, and blue is legal also but not pure blue like an LED but bluish tint like out of a bulb is legal. You can pick those up at ur local auto store there size 7443

i have white/blue parking lights. I had the WLED 6-LED bulb in my side markers but it made them look dull and ugly. So i left the stocker back in.

I "HAD" these VVVV in my parking lights but my low beams starting burning the LED's out 1 by 1. Although i do have them inside my car, up front 3 of them and the Festoon bulb

So i went to local Pep-Boys and got a set of these. Super Bright White color. They work great and look good!

size is 194/168 and they were only $6.

either get them at the local auto store or online

I'd suggest going down to your local automotive store....best way to do it.....if you don't like it...just return it no questions asked . I have Sylvannia *White 194 bulbs for the entire exterior array of 194 size bulbs on meh car....looks decent. Don't go with superbrightleds....their not made for the exterior of the car.....at least the headlight housing.
