Default Passenger side window issue

ok,i have a small issue the other day i gave some buddies of mine a ride in my car........i warned them not to slam the door cause usually people slam my door cause there use to big SUV's which require more force to shut the door....anyway i noticed the other day i went to go put my passenger side window down and it wouldnt go down it tries to but it almost like its stuck on something....i myself havent had a chance to actually look at it..now should i take apart the panel myself to check out the issue or should i have the dealer look at it......i think it may be off the track cause the the door was slammed a few times by accident but never got broke like this time i do warned them before hand but they think im joking around....

but any how any advice or threads on something like this would be greatly appercaited

I have some advice... Kick your friends a** then take it to a body shop. Dealers charge way to much for stuff like this and body shops are experts on taking doors apart and may not charge you much for a peek at the issue. Hope this helps!

Taking the door off is super easy. Will take like 5 mins. Just look at the top of that silver trim piece on the door and there is a slot for a small screw driver. Just pop that off and there are a couple of screws there and one behind the handle to open the door. Then just grab it from the bottom and pull. Then unhook the harness for the door controls.

that happened to me after i got window tint. they put the weatherstripping on wrong. could be your kind of issue down there but who knows. just pop off the door panel and see if you can make sense out of it before taking it to a dealer.

wow, that sucks. my friend's grandmother slammed my door shut with all her might. I can't yell at a 80 grandmother.
did u disconnected the battery for any reason? It might just need to be reset. And make sure you didn't pushed the window lock button on your driver's side by accident.
