Where do you guys get all the legal information from? I live in Louisiana, and I'm kind of new to the driving experience. I have a tC and I was thinking of getting that mercedes blue tint. What you guys think?

For myself I got 20% in the back and 50% in the front. 50% is actually dark. Reason I went for 50% is because my 6 months isn't up yet until March. I don't want to take a risk.

lol 50% is not dark. you might as well put plastic wrap on it. the % of the tint is the amount of light the tint allows to pass through. 20% tint allows 20% light to enter and blocks 80% out. thats why limo tint is 5% because it blocks 95% of the light. if you think 50% tint is dark then maybe you should reconsider tinting at all

Dude, I just spent way to much money on my tints, but I put 15% in the back and around the sides and 30% on the front doors. I should have gone 15% all the way around, but I love em. Any lighter is not worth your money.

i have a tc with 20% tint.. my friend has the same tint as i do and he just got a ticket the other day.. it rele depends on the color of your car as well... if you have a light color car like silver or white... it is going to be much more noticiable to the cops when your windows are tinted out... dont go with 35%

i live in maryland and have 17% all around. Ive pulled up right next to cops with my windows up and havent had any problems for about a year now. Tinting makes the car look soooo much better, especially on a flint mica

Comin' from a novice texan to another texan ... isn't tint one of the criteria checked in the annual state inspection? So even if you don't get ticketed by a cop, you wouldn't be able to pass the yearly state inspection?

I come from Florida. And EVERYONE in florida has tint under the legal limit.
