Not feeling the wheels actually. Does he have it dropped at all? Springs? Might help.

I guess a couple of questions as to why it looks a bit odd:

1) Will it be lowered? It would loose some of the 4x4 look
2) Is the tire size right? Looks taller than stock

I never knock anyone for modding. Hope he enjoys it.

I have seen those on a silver tC and they looked clean, but I don't know abou this one. Maybe its the color or the fact it needs a drop. hhmm..

Add some armor all to the tires and a 2" drop and your set

no, it's not dropped. and yes, the wheels are quite wide and are just a bit outside the fenders. maybe a wide body kit would fix that?? but it definately looks better in person. and i'm not sure that he could drop it. it's already very close to it rubbing on the wheel wells. but the wheels, to me, fill the wheel well perfectly.

and insanetc, i like your tc too! especially the grille with the tC logo on it. that silver gutter guard looks great on the silver tC! when i get mine, i'm probably gonna do that but paint it black.

i'm not too crazy about the drop though. i think the trd drop is perfect with the 17" rims and any more than that is too much because the wheels don't "flow" with the wheel wells. they just look like they are *shoved* up into the wheel well looking at it from the side. anyways, it looks very clean and keep it that way!

The trd springs aren't 300 I paid 150 for mine. The trd springs allow you to retain the factory shocks without blowing them out in six months like the other springs will do. For me the drop is perfect because personally I hate when the wheels tuck into the wheelwell. My trd springs have no wheel gap in the rear and 1 finger gap in the front.
