Default Please help with Hella Micro DE HID kit install!

I just mounted my Hella micro de on my vent visors.
Now I am trying to install the HID Kit.

HOw the heck do you get the light bulb to stay?
It uses a h3 bulb but the hid bulb I got is longer then the stock h3 bulbs.
Second does not fit in to the housing.

ANy one that install HID in to the hella micro De please help? how do you keep the bulb from falling out? and how do you water proof if the housing wont close?

did you have to customize it? did you buy a specific type of hid kit?
Here a picture.

ummm mine just fit just fine, and i bent the little tabs on the micro de housing to hold the bulb in place.

you can always glue/silicone it in.

mm, i use electrical tape to waterproof the housing (few of layers). I didnt glue or silicone cause of the risk of HID burning out. I cut that black cover off out the way for easy installation, but thats just me. Be creative!!! Let us know how yours turn out.

mines actaully turned out perfect. I placed my h3 bulb and bent the tab down a bit, which helped hold the bulb in place. I cut an X in the plastic part rubber piece where the wire is and pulled out the wires. I then stuck the new bulb in thru the x and then covered the housing with the rubber piece, since the bulb was longer then the regular h3 bulbs it held in place when i put the rubber piece back on. I then used silcone to seal up the x to water proof.

If you look at it it looks like the original fogs, but with HID nows...
