What does everything think about LED bulbs in a stock 06 housing? Ive been pulled over twice for tinted tails and looking for something brighter to shine through the tint. Also considering and LED style tail light tinted hoping it would be brighter then standard bulbs.

 

be careful...some led's as stop lights arent as bright as the stock bulbs

 

led bulbs dont draw as much current as standard bulbs so when it flashes, the car thinks the bulb is out bc it isnt using as much current therefore it hyper flashes....the resistors add the extra load to the circuit so the car thinks the standard bulb is in there

 

Any suggestions then? Are anzos or TYCs brighter then a standard bulb?

 

yes those are...just an actual led bulb might not be as bright......those led taillights are very bright
