Hey this my 2006 tc eagle eyes tinted

 

These pics are pretty ancient, but they're the stock '05 tail lights with vinyl overlays from Blue Batmobile and tweaked by a friend that used to do vinyl work.

 

 

Has anyone here retrofitted a pair of tail lights? I was thinking of trying to get a pair of Anzo's and doing things up a little bit. Nothing too crazy, but I do have a pair of TYC's so there's that.

 

Retrofit? Example??? I think long ago there was a custom set for sale, some led setup if I remember correctly.

I don't remember the link but I know someone posted a thread here in this section or even in this thread. He basically retro'd the taillights, putting LED's around the edge of the circles to give a similar effect as in g35 lights like so:

I know there was a girl w/ a Black tC..That Fitted the G35 Tails onto the car w/ the G35 Spoiler.

 

I'd love to get a set of Anzo tails to do some stuff to...that'd be nice.

So my Anzo/Eagle Eye's crapped out on me. I guess thats what i get for buying 05-07 tail lights for a 2008 tc. (reverse light socket didnt fit, so i made it fit lol but water got inside)

Anyways.. i decided to black out my stock 08 tail lights but leave the reverse light untouched.





I think i like it more than the anzo's. Flows with the car nicely. They kind of look like spec-d's lol.

 

all u need to do to get anzos to work on an 08+ is buy the 07 taillight wiring harness...like $30 a side or something. thats what i did!

 

Yeah i know. I just didnt want to dish out another $60+ lol and i thought theyd be fine the way i put in the sockets but guess i was wrong. One side is fine the other was damaged.

Maybe ill buy a left side replacement one day and the harnesses but for now i like the way the ones i have now look. I'll miss my anzo's though.

 

I have 5 LEDs dimming on the passenger side on a set of Eagle Eyes taillights(red/clear set). The LEDs that are dim are the outer most few on the bottom two rows. Have had them about a year, seems that one hasn't tried a fix from other posts I've read, anyone care to chime in?
