Default Problem with Carbon Fiber full lip kit from Racing Solution

Does any one here have the rs1 lip kit from Racing Solution ? I purchased the complete lip kit for 800 + Sad thing about everything is that i email the company for ever and never got a email about the product . I actually bought the kit because of great ppl that are here in the forums. So i finally got the kit in the mail , looked ok not knowing that it was not full carbon fiber but still looked good .

Last night im installing my kit with my friends that owns a body shop and im not sure if maybe i got a bad kit but wow nothing fit right. I had to to major modifications to the side skirts to make them work , and on top of that , today i go out side and the bottom of the side skirt where you close the door is all scratched up and damaged from the door and the friction of closing the door. Trust me i made sure it was flush and still didnt fit right .

Rear full lip was not as bad , i make sure i had 3m all the way around and the mounting was good but had trouble with my HKS exhaust but i ended up fixing the problem, over all i just wish this company has more customer service and a product that actually fits right without modifications.I had someone fix the problem but im sure a regular person would have given up .

My rear lip fit like a glove... can't believe yours didn't fit right. It was CF right? What do you mean it isn't fully CF?

Not sure on the sides, I have never had or had to install the RS1 sides.

Glad you got it figured out for the most part, cause the car looks sick.

Not full carbon fiber? I have the RS1 front from them and it fits great.

My bbist CF skirts basically just screwed on. 2 bolts in front, 2 in back, and one set screw in the middle of the skirt to keep it in line with the door.

Took less time for me to put on the skirts than it took for me to take the stock ones off, by far.

Can't believe the RS skirts have such bad fitment...? Need pics of how they sit on the car without modification, just placed where their supposed to go

Crap this is making me rethink dropping 800$ on a kit that is going to require this much work to fit properly.

Hmmm.... possibly a bad mold from the company, or you just got a bad kit .... in any case, they should have at least responded to you. Customer Service should come first. Do they have a fitament policy?

10 to 15 min to install? Lol were you going to a show or something? Wow that’s fast; I hope it had good screws. I took my sweet ___ time and made sure it was not regular screws , because I would hate to be zzz and some smart ___ with a mini screw driver come up and take my full lip kit just because I put regular screws . My alarm is very sensitive but I took the time to see if it could be done and you can actually take out the kit with a mini screw without setting off the alarm.

Ok i took the time to take some pictures of the car from all sides and where i had problems. Sorry if the pictures are blurry but i was on my bike with my left hand taking the pictures as my boy was driving on the highway .
(First picture of the front was at my job this morning )

At the end it came out nice but this company needs to step up their game and check their products before selling them. It's really scary when you give a internet company 800 plus and you get no customer service(You can’t even call them ) , no replies , no help , no advice on how the item will fit and I was lucky that my girl was home to except the delivery or else ups would have taken items to warehouse . I just think that if ppl here wanted just the side skirts and spent 300 plus at least given them a good product.
It took me over a year to get this kit because before I take a step forward I take 10 back lol meaning I search for a product in every way to get the best quality for the best price and when I came here to scion life I saw a lot of ppl with Racing Solution products so I thought it was a big time company with good products.
Oh and for people with side HKS exhausts, the full rear lip will not fit at all unless you make modifications to your exhaust hangers. I went to Auto Zone and got exhaust spaces to make the exhaust go lower and on the middle.
