So, I got the tranny all buttoned up this past weekend. Turns out it was not my TOB at all. One of the springs popped out of the clutch disc. I thought it was the TOB at first until my inspection revealed one of the springs just free balling it between the clutch disc and pressure plate. I was running a Stage 4 Competition Clutch (which I won't be going back to that brand anymore). I will get pics of it, but it's pretty weird how I've had this clutch for a good 6-12months on boost, and never had a problem. But when I take the turbo off to sell and drove around NA for a while, the damn thing fails on me. Now I'm riding on the weak **** TRD clutch. I guess the only good benefit is that I had this spare clutch laying around. It seems to shift a lot smoother, and the clutch feels lighter so it might actually rev faster with my lightweight flywheel.
I'll post pics later.

Dude sell that clutch and get an ACT clutch and call it a day.
I assisted on my clutch install and I don't think it was too bad. The only bad part was sliding the dam tranny out and then when you go back to realigning the tranmission back up it was a _____ because you can't see anything so your trying to eyeball it. Then the rear tranny mount is where you would probably curse like no other.

Did you have a Jack under the motor. Jacking up the motor is beneficial to aligning things up easier.

Yeah, track and spirited driving. Very nice looking tread pattern too. See my factory tires to the right? I was still 3 wheeling it even with that tread. Progress Rear Swaybar FTW! And only using H-techs too! Now sitting on these new R-S2's and about to install the Coilovers = Yum.

you will like the rs2s especially at that price. they take track heat very well, te only thing is they have softer sidewalls than most in their class, so be prepared for lots of camber
