I've seen some people have 6K HIDs in their APT/VRD fogs but I highly would not recommend doing the same setup.

HID fogs are way too blinding! I had to tint some of it to reduce the glare

I've got 12K in the projectors and APT fogs. I have the Kenstyle kit on so it cuts the glare down a lot. I'll try and get a pic.

I have 3K in my OEM fogs with no problems, don't know why it's "highly not recommended" just aim them down a bit and play with the adjustment until you get it right. I don't know why you one would want to go past 8K anyway.

^There's no up/down adjustment with the VRD/APT foglights.

HID 8k Top TSX Retro, Bottom VRD 8k ran for 4.5yrs, I started off with 3k color doesn't look evenly with them, I believe a regular yellow bulb will do best, since I already have few balast around so just put in the 8k to match my Projectors, I don't really see this thing shows any brighter when it's on but it's really glares if you're park on the side of the car and look over, because of that, it give me a little more light to both side to look out for curves, but not really notice any helps basically for looks, would swap those out for some projector fog later on for better lights.

^those aren't VRD's

Color discrepancies can sometimes be the angle of the light, adjustment if possible, or adjust the light itself. I had that same issue with my 3K's in my OEM fogs.
