Simply put,

I want to get a carbon fiber hood for my 08 tC.

I would like to know what kind of shops would install it for me because I am new to this.

you can install it yourself. its just 4 bolts on the hinges...take those off, get a buddy to help hold the new hood while you put the bolts back on.

its a differnt story if u plan on drilling holes for your washers, if you go to deep you can say bye bye..i installed mine in a bout hour and a half..

Yeah, mine came with pre-drilled small holes. So I used those as a guide and just had to widen them a tad. That took about 10 min.

Use a friend also.... it makes it a lot easier when lining up the hood

k, so pretty much its easy to do and I should ask them if my hood comes with holes for the washers

I am pretty sure those don't with holes for the washer nozzles.

Also that first hood you posted has poor fitment on every car I have seen with it,I would find a differant one.

not a fan of those hoods. If I got a carbon fiber hood I would either get seibon or kaminari..never heard of any fitment issues with those.

Yea I would get the seibon OEM style or kaminari reverse cowl hood. The seibon has the holes, the kami doesn't

Because with a carbon fiber hood, I actually want to see my car's hood when I am driving because I can't with the normal hood.

^^Well the kaminari is the best hood out there, as far as looks and fitment. I would pay that in a heart beat.

OP why do you need to see your hood while you are driving?

Been driving truck before, just used to seeing hood.

At this point, it seems that the ViS one seems to be the one I would like to get.
