Default Retrofit Project!!

I have finally gained enough courage and b*lls to do my own retrofit on my stock headlights. I have a friend who will be helping me out. Another friend of mine from Scikotics has allowed me to borrow an extra pair of headlights in the meantime which is great.

I will be using RX330-AFS projectors, TSX-R clear lenses, E46-R extended shrouds, and a 55w 6000k D2S HID kit.

I would like to add that I have purchased the TSX-R clear lenses, E46-R extended shrouds, and spacers for the clear lenses from theretrofitsource.com. I spoke with Nate from theretrofitsource.com and he helped me out a lot. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (this guy knows his stuff). I also received a very informative email from Matt. I highly recommend this site to anyone who is looking into doing a retrofit in the future. They have everything you need on their site and have EXCELLENT customer service.

FINALLY!! After hours and hours of tedious work, trial and error, and a lot of headaches...the headlights are done!! I apologize for the bad quality of the pictures (all taken with an iPhone), and for how dirty my car is. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I enjoy my headlights!!

Driver side projector hadn't been fully adjusted yet...

You'll have to keep in mind that the cutoff cannot be absolutely perfect (like OEM), because it is a retrofit, and it's my first at that!! So please cut me some slack and appreciate what I've done at least to make me feel like it wasn't a waste of time...lol. I will take and post more pictures upon request. Any questions are welcome, and I hope that this inspires someone else to take on this task...

I will now finish my case of beer...lol

Yes, 4300k looks great, BUT I got a 55w kit which washes out some color 8000k looks more like 6000k). That's why I got 6000k, it should look very close to 4300k but be hella-bright.
