Default Roof spoiler, E46 style

After 6 weeks its finally here. I used to be a Dubber (aka VW owner/enthusiast) and I got this idea from the B5 Passat/A4 guys.

Edit 8/16: Actually installed the spoiler. Unlike the old mock-up pics, I decided to mount it at the top of the hatch glass. It does rub against the roof glass alittle when I open the hatch.

The images dont acurately reflect the 3 dimensions of the spoiler (makes it look like a gap). Maybe I should take photos in direct sunlight, but the shadows may worsen the effect.

The fact that most of you dont like it makes me feel better. Too many look-a-like tC's around. I was gonna get a cf hood, but I see enough white tc's with it. Still looking around for some original gangsta wheels.

From far away it looks like big gaps between the sunroofs, but I can see how it would help with rocks and such on the freeway.

Yeah... I don't think it looks right. Sorry, but it looks better on the V-dubs.

Makes it look like a gap on the roof.

You know that's meant for the trunk right? Bimmers don't have them on the roof, but as a little lip of the trunk.

I had one like that on my Accord, but on the trunk. Looks good where it is supposed to go.

I dont really care for it. It breaks up the overall look and makes it look not as clean.
But if you want to be different.....

yeah i know its an e46 trunk spoiler, but here's one on the roof/glass for shiz and giggles

i guess since the tc doesnt have any design breaks in the roof (instead a uni-glass look from front to back), a roof spoiler wouldnt work too well. I figured this lip spoiler is the most subtle and might be the cleanest looking.

other roof spoiler examples...

LOL.....

the one on the red audi looks good, i hope somebod actually makes something similar for the Tc i think it would look decent if it was done right.........but the trunk spoiler does not look like it belongs thier.....it needs to be further down the back window....

Yall don't have rocks flying at your car on the freeway? Let me show you what can happen when a rock on a Houston freeway challenges your tC:

Image if I would have had my sunroof tilted open!
