Scoobasteve4132, do you have a time frame when these might go on sale? I'll drive and pick this up! Anyways, great work!

sweet, thanks for the close ups Kanchi, I figured that's what you meant just needed a picture to get it. Did you heat them to get them to curve?

Pete heated it up on the side of a paint can to get the curvature, was tricky finding something w/ the same arc!

couldnt you just heat up the new clear corner and use the stock 1 for the correct arc?
just wondering

That actually looks good... as long as they are clipped in and secured....
Didn't know that diffuser layer can bend, but if it bends with heat, that will work out well....

I knew that what they were made of, it's obvious, but always seems to look good. One of these days I'll just do it and buy a damn sheet of that stuff and give it a shot

Its really difficult to "freehand" with a heat gun and I didn't want to mess up the stock amber ones just in case I have to put them back in for some reason. So the easiest way to get the same arc was laying it over the side of a paint can and heating it up until its took the same arc.

^couldn't clip...not that advanced in that field we did make it fir in sung and used an expoxy to mount it and a hi-temp sealant to ...well seal it and help hold it in place...already found a few pot holes and still holding up great!

its not going to come off, after being epoxied and sealed with black glass sealant it will hold. technically speaking the epoxy really is only in three small spots to tac it in and the sealant was there for vibrational dampening.

erik did a great job on assembling these, all i did was give him some simple advice that he followed to the T.

the plastic used needs to be heated evenly on both sides, and than layed out of the intended surface for it to get pliable enough to curve.

but the real trick is making sure not to flash off the water molecules left over in the plastic from being molded.

otherwise you get bubbles. so dont overheat it.

good job erik
