Default Scion TC Mini H1 HID Projector Retrofit!

Okay, well I decided to put some projectors in the TC... They are legit projectors that you are supposed to use for your HID's... Costed me about $150, but I would say it's worth it.

The Mini H1's are one of the best projectors out there and they are on sale for $70 shipped. Let me know if you need some, as I can give you a link to some crazy good deals.

Anyways, here are some pictures of the results... The cutoff is terribly off..

But, I will be fixing that soon... None, the less enjoy the pictures... Took me a about 6-8 hours since I'm a dumbass and this was my first time.

Enjoy and let me know what you guys think!

Yeah, it's all fukked up... lol... I wasted soo much time on worthless dumb stuff I didn't understand the first time... The fender liner and undertray stuff got tore off the highway the other day, while I was driving the car. So I'll just take the bumper off, get the 35W ballast in and get that replaced.

Hope you got a set of projectors. That sale that is going on HID-Planet is amazing!

Thats gonna be me soon haha. But yea the whole fenderliner and undertray happened to me and my tc too i just ripped all that off and still ran cold air and was all good.

And yea man! I just paid 115 for the Mini H1's, FXR's, and some g35/g37 shrouds since the H1's already came with the gatlings i believe. So hopefully all that turns out ok. Ill still need to buy bulbs and harness probably unfortunately :/ but yeaaa we'll see haha

Funny how the same people that talk ____ ask for help later. None the less, not too hard if you have all the supplies and you know what you're doing. The car sat in the garage for like 2 weeks because I didn't gather everything i needed before hand.

I still need to adjust some things to make them perfect.

If you know what you're doing, then it shouldn't take more than 4 hours.

Looks great, OP. Could you please post any pictures you have of how you mounted the shroud and what not? Perhaps some shots of the rear of the housings?

Thanks!

Again, great job.

Mini H1 ? Give ya a clue? H1 bulbs. Their really small and thats the clip thats hanging out. It's the new bulb holder since the 9006 bulb would work w/ the projector.

It's a regular H1 bulb, not mini H1.

I went w/ 6000K... It's whiter if you have 55W, and bluer if you have 35W. Just some piece of advice, DON'T be using these projectors w/ 50/55W. You'll just fry the projector bowl.
