wow fail on so many levels. you might be able to dremel your lip kit to fit the foglights if you really wanted to. Idk what the lip kit looks like. Never really checked out an RS4 lip kit.

Just sell them and buy the OEM ones. Should have done your research before you bought them.

Good luck with your venture

Damn all the hate in this thread...

the dude said he was not thinking when he got them... so stop all the bashing. he made a mistake and im sure he realized it.

to the original poster...

just sell the VRD's and buy the OEM ones- they come assembled in a grill. that 'grill' will replace your existing bottom grill. so no cutting or anything.

wow, yeah it's a bad idea to cut into the RS lip man. that kills the value right there and those lips aren't cheap either.

well i have an rs4 with oem fog lights. i like the look of vrd fogs but i knew they wernt going to fit. i also played around with the idea of drilling them out so that more 'cooler' air could reach the filter. but "I" never went through with it.
on a 500 mile drive on a 2 lane highway, i was stuck behind two huge trucks. i wanted to pass them as so did about 8 cars behind me since they were going pretty slow, the speed limit as a matter of fact. well, one of them runs over some tree limbs that were in the middle of the road for some reason and then the second one runs over it as well and kicks some up in the air. i just see this big stick heading right towards me. i had no where to go since i had on coming traffic and no break down lane. plus i had 8 cars behind me riding my bumper. all i hear is a bid thump and i knew i had body damage. i finally went around the two trucks and drove another 80 miles to the next town. while sitting in a parking lot, this guy parks in front of me and looks at my bumper and then looks at me. he looks at my bumper again and then looks at me again and points to it. so i go out there and sure enough, on the passenger side fake fog light hole is a 1 inch diameter 10 inch long branch that has made a hole and got stuck. i pulled it out and saw that the damage was done. i couldnt believe that i was driving for so long and it didnt fall off.
so now im back to the same decision, go ahead and drill them out and fab up a grill for them since i already have a hole in one of them or just leave one with a hole.

cant really see the hole since it is so low now that i have hotchkis springs and its a dark paint job.

^^How do you not get pulled over with blue and red lights in your grills? More importantly, why did you do that in the first place?
