Default Shaved Door Handles

Does anyone know where I could do this and how much it costs to do ? I am from Northern Va so anywhere around there would be better.
Thanks

Its not cheap -- but any good body shop will be able to do it.

You pretty much have to repaint the whole door in order to make it blend in.

Don't forget, you'll need the solenoids, relays, and poppers... it'll add to the cost.

I agree that most body shops will shave them for you i.e patching, welding, bodywork, etc. I'm not sure however if they will do the complete install of the solenoids and poppers. The door will definitely have to be blended and some shops may tell you all the adjacent panels will have to be blended too. Paint and labor noramlly run 40$ an hour around here. Know anyone that can weld? Shaving the door handle is easy for someone with the skill set. Then you could take it to the shop to get it painted. Save you a lot of money. Good luck either way. It would definitely be worth it.

shaved door handles are a pointless show mod. just an expensive show mod that can totally backfire on you when yor battery is dead and the doors won't pop open.

usually don't weld pannels anymore=too wavy to cover up from heat etc. Many body shops will use a fiberglass patch flap and apply resin etc. Have not seen the difference in person but have seen some crappy weld jobs done by noobs. lol

bwahahahahahhahahaahahah... wow... so not liking the shaved door handle look is a measure as to how much you know about cars now-a-days... now ive heard just about everything... lol

on a side note. for those of you planning on keeping the car FOREVER or buying new doors later on, go for it.

I agree with Drax,,, completely pointless

There is a difference between not liking something and it being rice.

shaved door handles is rice - and so are lambo doors and painted interior trim.

not sure what your gauges read either, but i hope they're useful, if not, add that to the list.

If you dont have any suggestions that are relevant to his question, dont post. He didnt ask the forum what everyone thought of shaved handles...

they have "emergency buttons" in case the battery dies to unlock the door, or to pop the door open...
