I would post pics but I haven't done anything to the tC since I bought a HOUSE! $$$ is a little tight. I might buy me some Polk db6500 Component speakers. Crutchfield.com has the "buy one set get the 2nd set half-off" deal going on.

I just got the best thanksgiving gifts ever to a tC owner. this is not the tC model kits like others that are selling on ebay. this is the real deal R/C car made by Xmods Evolution. (Got it from Radioshack but you can get it at www.xmodsrc.com as well) Dont underestimate it b/c this thing is fast! (I guess they should be since they use the same base for every other car (Skyline, Evo, Z, G35, etc) So i guess the tC is at least fast at the r/c track, lol.

There are quite a bit of accessories for it including lighting kit (headlights and taillights), underbody lighting, suspension upgrade, stage II motor upgrade, drift kit, ALL WHEEL drive kit. And oh did i mention it's a REAR WHEEL DRIVE? So i'll be drifiting it.

I bought the car and an additional HID lighting kit, lol, and oh the drift kit (drift wheels and tires)

it's possible, since it's an RC and the body cover seems to be detail enough to do that, just take some time and work.

Here's a pic I fiddled with in iPhoto...

I gotta a flat. So now I'm back (temporarily) to the 5Zigens...

I'm going to get me some tires for the Fliks sometime this week.

^^Also, I'm thinking about dropping some $$$ into the tC. Here are some of the items I've been pondering...

AUDIO
New Polk db Series Component Speakers for the front and rear. (Crutchfield is having a great deal on these right now.)
A new Amp to power the new speakers. (Opinions welcome on a brand.)

SUSPENSION
TRD Front Tie Bar and Rear Sway.

BRAKES/ROTORS
I want Brembo Drilled and/or Slotted, but the Rotorpros are A LOT cheaper. Decisions decisions!
Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads.
SS Brake lines.

ELECTRONICS
Getting the Gauge and HVAC LED swap out.

INTERIOR
Carbon Fiber Dash Applique. Funny thing is I only want to use a couple of the pieces that come in the 18 piece set on trdsparks.com. If it looks nice, then maybe I will use some (or all) of the other pieces. (That's my logic in getting the 18 piece as opposed to a smaller set. Yeah, I know I'm retarded. lol)

Let me know what you all think. Heck, I may just bite the bullet and do them all at once!

Just wondering, what happened to your M3 bumper? Wasn't sure if it was a Vinati or not.

It was all jacked up, scraped from the bottom and the paint was all cracked, so it was time for a change.

Wheels: Boo hoo about the fliks. I'll take the 5zigens off your hands since you dont seem to want them anymore

Audio: I'd recommend the Infinity component set...it has a cleaner more crisp sound compared to the Polk components. The Polks do have more bass though...I'm thinking about swapping out my Polk coaxials for some components soon. As for an amp, I'm thinking about an Alpine 4-channel amp. Damn I love having a brother work at best buy!!

Brakes: Don't want the TRD pads? Id probably look for a set of Pagid Street compounds if they made any. I had them on my BMW and they rocked out

Electronics: White LED all the way. Lexus-style baby

Interior: Just doooooo it!!

(Upon further reflection, I have no idea why I'm recommending all of this to you, because you'll end up stealing my ideas out of my brain again anyway!)

My first thought is you got the kit off a black car and couldn't afford to paint it....
