it's not much of the connection of the bulb in the socket itself being tight..
but moreso the blades of the bulb (the actual electrical connection) fitting in tight inside the harness's female side.
it's the proper size of the blades that pretty much determine the connection.
any electronic store should have this conductive grease. i bought a small syringe full of the MG one for about $10-15 and it'll last awhile... you don't need much.
