Smoked out taillights
Here is a picture of the actual product itself. Alot were asking about what the can looked like so I have a picture here.
Ska has an excellent writeup on how to use it.
Just for ease of the users on the forums, i'll repost a few pics of the nightshade project in progress.
Have to put one more coat of the NightShades....then will be applying the clear coat to give it that final showroom appearance.
Thanks for looking.

Your wrong on the overlays being better bud. Ive applied 2 more coats of the Nightshades...will put on the clear coat tomorrow...will post the pic....and you will see that you are VERY WRONG. In my opinion.

ive done both they both have there + and - i did overlays this time on my xb and really like them. The one thing nice about overlays is if your tail light or headlight gets damaged you can get a new overlay. But with night shades you can get the exact shade you want. the really good way to do it is to paint it with automotive paint ive seen it done on a 300c and they looked great it matched the balck on the 300c exactly and you could still see the lights perfectly

Cool...yeah..maybe a poll. Anyway, Ive finished my last coat and will be doing the clear coat later tonight. I'll post pics. I hope I didnt get it too dark...not really wanting the hassle of the police.

Looks good zy.....overlays or nightshades? Im going with the nightshades because i want the glassy/glossy look that it provides with the clear coat. Should look great on my superwhite.
Also, if your on a budget the Nightshades will run you 10.00 a can and 4.99 for clearcoat as opposed to the 50-100 that overlays cost. Im not worried about price...but if you seen Ska's car with the nightshades and 4 coats of clear coat over it, you would have to agree that the nightshades rock.
Sidenote, Do you think I should do my turn signals on my sideviews?

I think the spray is better considering you will not see the overlay's edges when you get really close and take a good look at the entire taillight. they both look pretty good IMO, i wounder what the night shades would look like on the headlights....anybody do those yet?

zyzyx6969 i like your avatar. Get the overlays, much more safer than your spray on. My friend sprayed his tail lights on his toyota carolla, and it's peeling off after while, and it didn't grow on him. He wants his original tail lights back.
