There's nothing wrong with what he's selling, it's just funny people are actually buying them, even after someone left negative feedback saying that it was just something you can get at home depot for $12. What's wrong, and against ebay's policy, is using someone elses pictures without permission.

The copyright thing is tricky. But (and I had to talk to two intellectual property attorneys at our company on this very subject, so the info is good) the moment you write or create something, it IS copyrighted. You are not obligated to register it (although it helps in court to prove you made it first) or put copyright on it to legally be covered. That means even the term paper you wrote in college is copyrighted and not legal to reproduce without your permission.

However..... when you post a picture on the internet, things get a bit more sketchy from what I know.

You may or may not be able to do something.. but your best bet is to email them and say you are discussing with your attorney what action to take against them... chances are they dont know their rights that well and dont want the bad publicity and hassle.. so they will just take them down Reporting to paypal may help as well.

Keep in mind, I am no attorney.. nor do I play one on tv... so this is just from what I have learned dealing with intellectual property, patents and the attorneys I have spoken to at our company, which is a very, very large company, so they tend to be pretty good sources.

my car has been all over the place, difference is that my pictures that were on tunerzine are copywritted and need to have the expressed written consent from tunerzine and my photographer to use them.

all my other pics oh well, nothing i can do
