Default Sparco Hood Pins. Help please.

OKAY, so this isnt like most other post about hood pins. I know what the point of hood pins are and what ones I want. I just am not sure how the go on. I have not yet ordered them but i will be getting Sparco Hood pins from http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/s...ins-p-278.html The instructions arent very good and I was wondering if any modifications to my hood will be needed. I am ordering the Seibon OEM style CF hood from hopupracing.com they say that the hood pin holes come predrilled but I may need to open the holes up a little. Anyone know if I will have to drill even more holes in the Hood?

Please help!

Don't quote me on it, but almost 100% sure the Seibon hood doesn't come with pre-drilled hood pin holes. I know it comes with pre drilled windshield wiper holes that you have to open up a little bit.

Use painters tape and mask the area you want to drill.........this is so if the bit moves it willnot leave a big scratch.............

measure at least 4 times and from all angles to get the right spot.........

use a new bit.........not a cheap one go get a Dewalt bit set with pilot points

have help..........extra hands and eyes are always better than doing it alone..........

I get to do this also in about a week when my Kaminari CF hood comes in.........

wear a dust mask of some sort too.

you don't want any of that dust to be inhaled.

I have them on my CF hood. Take it to a shop that has dealt with CF and is confident in doing the job. Drill it yourself and mess it up...
