stock 2008 projector housing HID

I am running some 35w HIDs in my 2008 stock projector housing and want to move up to 55w. Has anyone had or heard of any melting or housing damage from 55w HIDs?

just gonna say it before anyone else does...but search next time. I have 55w ddm tuning kit, 6k and they are fine.

I have 55w DDM Tuning kit 4300k whiter then a lot of luxury cars. Had 35w but with the projector they were blue, I tried 5k and 6k still blue. No melting here.

I was thinking of the 55W 4500K from DDM. Do you have a picture of yours on? I'd like to see how they look. Also, I have an '06 tC w/ '09 heads so it's a 9006 harness w/ H11 bulbs (I have a converter from 9006 to H11). Should there be any problems installing these? I don't know if the adapter will work with the HID kit.
