Subaru STI front lip + tC?
I got a 06-07 STI S204 replica lip off ebay and I'm deciding if I should mount it. It matches up well with the OEM tC front lip, but the corners stick out a little too much.
This is the lip (image taken from ebay)
FYI: There are 5 different WRX lips out there: 02-03, 04-05, 06-07, 08-10, and 11-12
I wonder if the 08-10 and 10-12 lips would fit. Unfortunately they cost about double the 04-05 and 06-07 lips.

I thought the same thing, but the factory kit blends into the bumper so it almost looks like they're one piece. the stock 06-07 Impreza bumper doesn't have a lip, but the design makes it look like there is a lip.
it's been done before anyway
same lip i got
even Subaru did it on the 08-10 Impreza (non-STI). that's the optional factory lip kit + STI lip

sorry I had to lol but seriously I think it looks good but its too short on the ends where the wheel wells are.
I'd recommend a HD lip and call it a day, save alot of money too

Seat Cupra R lip. Google image search "cupra lip" and you'll see this on all sorts of cars. I thought about it for my tC, but I think it'll be too difficult to install.
the silver golf in the background and grey jetta in the front both have the euro lower lip (pictured above), but the Jetta has the cupra r lip attached
more lips on lips

real quick is that a splitter or a lip? i didnt know apr made a actual lip but it looks different than their splitters, maybe because of the lipkit you already have on there. just curious

I did another test fit using zip ties and books. I used the holes i previously drilled in my bumper for my old APR splitter and zip tied the front to the holes in the lip.
The Subaru lip is too squared to match the tC's bumper (with oem lip kit) perfectly. The edges are not too short. If you pull the lip forward past the tC's front bumper/lip, the ends will line up with the bumper. My only complaint is the corners being too square.
I'm not in the mood to spend the day modding the Subaru lip, so I'll put it off for another day or sell it.
