Default Tail light mod

Hey guys, I've seen a few people who have their tail lights modded to do some sweet stuff with the turn signal. I've had someone in the past tell me you have to program them to do that but I'm not sure how to do that. Can anyone can help me figure out how to do it? Thanks guys!

What "mod" are you trying to do to your tails? What year tails do you have? There is no "programming" on tail lights, they are simply lights and wires.

More details then "sweet stuff with the turn signal" is needed. Help us help you. Or SEARCH.

omg.. it's hyperblinking!? is that what you're calling as "sweet stuff"?

uhh.. you install led bulbs that draw less current causing the car to confuse it for a blown bulb thus causing the problem...
which i hope you are not actually trying to do on purpose.. it's not sweet, and it's utterly annoying.

other than that.. i have NO IDEA what else you can be talking about.

there's no mod to the turn signals..
he only added more lights to the TBL and then hooked them up to the turn signals..

as far as the patterns... he was sitting in the car... he was doing that manually.
other times, it looked like it was hyperblinking..

nothing special except some hard labor work to cut open the TBL and do some wiring.

FYI, tail lights aren't an "interior mod".

And like it was said, it was just a modified third brake light.

I'm not feeling what that dude did with the function of the directionals into the tbl. If he had the outer sections of the tbl as reverse lights, that would be a better setup. Left and right directionals too close together... I don't know about that. Is that even DOT approved?

All that work to modify the TBL and he didnt even use load resistors. It had potential, but now the hyperblink makes it look like crap.

I did hyperblinking.......back in '96 it was a must have. It was like having an intake. I tried doing it the light bulb way but didn't work so I rewired it so that way my hazards were fast too. Only problem was that I changed combo switches almost every other year. In a way it is played out but it also isn't I haven't seen it for a long time now. I did hate being behind someone that had them though.

My signals hyperblink, but that's because of the front signal/driving light mod. I hate it. I need to find a resistor or something.
