taking a stab at is300 fogs
Ok so I have read that a few people have done this on their tc and I had my is300 fogs left from when I had my 93 gs300 so I thought i would take a stab at it. I didn't like the fact of people flipping the projectors and loosing the up and down adjustment ability of the fog lights. I also didn't like the yellow and wanted white, and I didn't like how the chrome fog light housing would look on my bsp tc. So to remedy these problems, I painted the housing, I sanding and polished the shiet out of the projector lenses, and I cut out the cutoff shield, I will be making my own. Here are a few pics of what I have so far.

Yes the glass isn't painted or anything though. Its actually stained. So you have to sand the actual glass down until you get past the stained glass. That equated to about 2 hrs of sanding per lense with a power sander and then wet sanding, also with a power sander. An on top of that polishing with a high speed dremel. I've never done it before so I thought I would give it a try and it came out real nice. I also cut out the cutoff shield. I finished the other lense today, here are so pics.
It takes alot of polishing, but the finished product is almost better than the original. And I wanted something to match my h.i.d and the yellow wasn't gonna work.
here is the stock housing vs. the one with cutoff shield removed.
This one is with the shield
And this is without it

Sooo ... are they done yet!? :D I also have a question ... it's gonna sound real nerdy ... but if you sanded down the glass enough to get the tint out ... doesn't that change the thickness of the glass (thereby changing the angle of refration and spread of the light)? I would think sanding it that much would severely affect light output ... what do you think? Oooo! I wanna see the finished product already!

Here is a pic of the projectors screwed down into the housing.
