I had Silverstars in my last car for about a year without them burning out, but from what I'm reading, I was lucky.

I'm considering PIAA for the tC, but they had better last a damn long time at that price for me not to go with a HID setup instead.

By the way.. does anyone else notice people flashing their high beams at them at night thinking that you've got your high-beams on when they're not?

It honestly happens to me almost daily, sometimes more.

All i know is that my boy had PIAA's and im pretty sure he still has them after a few years w/o issues. I do know PIAA makes a quality product....hence the price.

My PIAA's only lasted me about a year. They looked great. Were $80 a pair. Not worth it to me for only a years worth of use.

(stock wattage is 51, i wouldn't put anything over 55w in)

I want to get new headlights --- which PIAA's do you think I should get. Look at my post at the ones I picked because they seemed like the right choice for me. That webpage has good prices?? ....i dont know anything about the light prices because I just started looking around.

PIAA seems to last the longest out of any bulbs I know of. if you want PIAA's that website is definately the cheapest unless you find them on ebay.

YES. I've been blinded by at least 20 people while driving at night who think my highbeams are on. I don't understand it, we have a awsome cuttoff and it's low enought that it doesn't hit above bumper level normaly, I don't know what people are thinking.

dont worry about if they flash you..... do what i did .... switch your highbeams with ultra white bulbs and blind the people back. Maybe if people did that enough the initial blinder might learn his/her lesson. . . . ... I did this once and im sure it shocked the person. I waited till the car was almost next to me while doing it because I am 100% sure the person was not able to see for a second after my "slip of the highbeams". Sorry fool.

If you just want blue tinted headlights, go grab some "Cool Blue" headlights. Same brightness as stock, blue tinted, and street legal.
do the cool blues also emit a bluish light?, or only blue tint? because im considering getting them.

PIAAs dont last much longer than most brands out there. I sell them at my shop along with Nokya, MTEC, EUROLITE, sylvania, etc

Another vote for the Silverstars. I like the rainbows of colors you see when you just stand outside the tC and admire the light. What's more important is the light YOU see when you're behind the wheel. Because when your car is moving, you are driving it and not looking at your own headlights. Headlights are a safety standard and shouldn't be tampered with all too much. You got the money for an HID retrofit, by all means go HID. If you don't? IMHO, don't risk it by getting the HID-look.
