Default TC Weathertech Vent Visor/Rain Guard question.

Question:

I recently bought the Weathertech Vent Visor/Rain Guards for my TC and installed them no problem. Now my windows appear to roll up fine until they hit the area by the Visor and they move up ever so slowly and dont seem to tuck into the upper window like they used to. I sat there and tried to flatten out the Visors and Weather stripping as best as possible but it still seems like its straining the window motor. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah I just want to know if this is normal, i just want to put my mind at ease. These things look sick but want to make sure this is normal operation.

It's normal. Over time the windows should roll up all the with no problems. It's like breaking in a shoe.. Or anything else for that matter.

yeah, thats how mine were for the first few days...just gently pull up on the window a little if everything else is out of the way, and don't put your windows down for a day or two...after that they go up just like they would without the ventvisors.

it's a common issue with any in-channel visors on any car.

it gets better as it gets broken in though

Just pulled and used the window motor to push it up some more on both sides and will let it sit like that for a day or so, then play with it some more.
