Default To those with headlight baking/painting experience:

Hey all i just bought some 08 projectors for my 07 super white. I had my 07 headlights painted and the came out awesome, so i am looking to do the same thing in the 08 lights...

I would be willing to pay for shipping both ways(obviously)and pay for the work if someone with the experience would help me out with the baking and painting.

the 07s that got painted are in the link below if you want to check them out...

thanks!

why not try it for yourself? practice painting something else until you are comfortable and then go at it.

Painting them isn't hard. I did mine a couple years ago when I still had them and they came out great. When you bake them make sure the oven is on its lowest temp and do not leave them unattended. Paint them with high heat paint following the same steps (minus clear) that you'd follow for painting interior pieces, etc.

You should do it yourself. This is the steps that i used to bake and paint mines.

You could just paint the plastic piece with some non-translucent paint.

did mine @ 275* for 7mins. easy opening, put a damp towel on a cookie sheet so the bottom of the headlight wont cook too.

i think its no problem to bake headlights and open them up, paint them etc. I think the hardest part is to not make the outside look like s*** after putting the silicone to seal the edges (prevent mositure)
