Fuse problem fixed... seems like all those little leds need more power. Even though LED's draw less wattage there are still more of them then just one bulb. I put a 15 amp... 20... and 25 and they all kept blowing. I popped in a 30 amp fuse in there and it seems like that solved the problem.

you have to add yourself... its not that hard.

 

just a word of caution, you may want to not use a 30 in a 10 amp fuse. fire may start.

 

any other way around using a 30 amp fuse in a 10 amp then? because anything less keeps blowing.

 

try putting the stock back on, if that fixes the problem, then we should talk to anzo. if the led brow is actually drawing close to 30amps on a 10 amp rated circuit, we may or may not have prolems depending on if the circuit can handle 30 amp continuously w/o any problem or not.

 

I'll give them a call in the morning and see whats up. I could possibly have a short in one of my connections somewhere causing it to blow. I have tried changing it with the stock 10 amp fuse and kept blowing.

they are are part of the LED. the upper portion.

 

damn, that would of been kinda nice if the turn signals were in the lower clear section...

Argh! Sorry about your fuse problems. That's why I think they should kept the top LEDs wired separately from the high-low beams so we can use it as daytime running lights

Speaking of which, when you said the halos and eyebrow LEDs operate as your running light, you mean when the low-beam's on, right? Not as daytime automatic lights that stays on when the car's on?

The tC doesn't have automatic daytime running lights. It is the first click before you turn on the low beams.... the running lights also known as parking lights.

No, I know that. But that doesn't mean you can't wire the eyebrows LED directly to the battery or maybe ACC so it is on all the time when the car's on, right?
