I'm leaning more show/fun than serious race... but would like to be able to run it when I want... just don't want to do too much more race orientated power work till more results/experience comes out on the tC platform here... I want to give it some time....
I'm happy just modding away as I go...

That would be an awesome idea.... I'll look into that.... I don't think there is a kit for the tc platform... but will have to see how others have done it....

Split hood scares me for a daily driver.... The reverse hood looks to be insanely tough... and about a grand for the old school electric opening setup (But the actuators look huge) and the construction looks like it's set up for muscle cars with more room than we have in our little engine bays...
I'll still keep looking around for ideas though.

I really like the look of that, but it could look 10x better if you would've cut out that middle divider in the grille area and added mesh to the bumper to fill in some holes. Also, if you can get away with it, darker tint would accent the CF hood and the total look of the car.
But, in all generality, looks sweet and keep up the good work.

tC_Luis - Thanks.... checking out your doors really pushed it over the edge for me to pursue that direction... Since it's valentine's and I'm married, I really didn't commit too much time to finishing them tonight... They'll be done tomarrow.

And "Bolt On" they are not... talk about fender modification.....
YIKES....
You DEFINATELY have to modify the heck out of the fender on both this and the VDI kit... a patient and gutsy person could do it... but I see why people go with shops on this one....
Valentine's Day is once a year.... Work break and marriage surpass Car....

If I had more time, yes, but I have a show this weekend and with today and other commitments I'm tapped out... still got to detail the heck out of it before friday night... I'll definately post tips and tricks about this... and would support anyone who needs help...
The concept is easy, there are just some time consuming and gutsy things that need to be done to make it all come together.
In my opinion... if you can remove the bumper, and take your door panels off... and are good with a metal cutting tool, and have wrenches, you can do this in an 8 hour saturday.
I'll post a quasi-how-to to help out and definately tell about the hardest parts... then you can make your mind about undertaking the task....
