this is a very complex thread. there are a lot things going on here.
- was it right to copy someones design? probably not, but when it comes down to it; someone made what people wanted. you have to take advantage of everything and with no response from anyone someone saw an opening.
- legal issues? this will be interesting. ground designs and bomex ran into this when people started copying their products. those were straight copyies and this was designed from scratch. there might not be anything there, but who knows. there is a similiar spoiler made by aero gear which has been shown on this thread. the 10%-15% difference can be in deteremined in the all the sizes and angles which i am sure it is.
- trf.... it is funny that all of sudden someone comes out of hiding after being gone and having a big response for one product. looks as if your wanting sympathy, but whos fault would it be? although it is not direct, you can read it in the posts. one thing i learned about this business is you need to keep in contact with customers. not all can be happy, but looks like your loss of contact is what hurt yourself.
