From the front you can't tell the difference, from the back you will see the Denso D2S connector, but when they come on they look like high beams pointed low there so bright!!

I compared both (new) modified H11 halogens w/4300 HIDs @ 35w against 1 RX330AFS, RX blew them away. So with both new RX330's running it's like 4 times the brightness, but it covers the entire road.

As for the curved shields I didn't want to risk the constant heating and cooling of that thin metal in fear that it might change the cutoff over time.

Yeah I meant the output haha, mine should look stock too. Are you re-positioning the stock shield at all? Which lens did you end up choosing?

I'm using the RX stock shield sanded flat, spaced 2mm down, e30's, Philips 85122+, and Denso 35W ballasts.

H1 kit looks good. Waiting on my Retro-Quik mini D2S projectors for a set of 08 headlights as we speak. Mail man Hurry Up!!!! lol. .................. and as I was typing that, he showed up haha. YES! lol. I had FX35 projectors in them to begin with, but they were too big and were pressing against the stock shroud, they wouldn't adjust high enough to be effective, going to put the FX projectors in another project, and the Morimotos in my 08 headlights, should have pics up tonight.

Stay at 35W and use OEM bulbs and you might be satisfied with the Morimoto Mini D2S.

I have a 35W kit, McCulloh Ballasts that I've had for like 7 years lol, and Phillips 85122+ bulbs, not looking for anything ridiculous, just with less glare and better output than a HID kit in a 06 housing like I had before that SUCKED! lol. Took some pics, the car's been in a wreck, so the right projector is off at an angle, can't do much about that :/. Posting up pics in a few
