I know about carbon fiber hoods...
I know about stripping your interior...
I know about getting light rims...
Basically what I would like to do is lighten my car as much as possible without stripping noticeable stuff off the car.
I DONT want it looking like its only made to race...
Any ideas?...

Well, you either remove parts or replace with lighter ones... or dont reduce weight. It sounds like you are not a serious race guy, so dont bother in general, just not worth it if you want to keep the stock, street look.

-remove
spare, AC, Windshield washer fluid and reservoir, remove all seats except driver seat, remove all interior panels, remove floormats
Swap:
Hood, Hatch, stock rims for lighter rims
just to name a few.

Well when it comes to a daily driver I apologize for not being a serious "race" guy lol.

What I've done...
I removed the stock battery and rear mounted a lightweight battery. That's about 30lbs removed from the front and around 15lbs added to the rear.
I have light weight wheels/tires.
Lightweight flywheel and crank pulley.
Beyond that...
Hood/hatch are good ideas but expensive for only about 40-50lbs saved. Unless you like the look also. They do make a CF roof but you will lose sun roof functionality. That removes around 40lbs from the highest point in the car which is very good. Also expensive.
You could get the rear seat brackets redone with aluminum or remove it all together. Racing seats will typically be lighter weight but can be costly also.
New rotors that possibly weight less (slotted/drilled). You'd have to get some measurements to see if you're even saving anything there.
I'm sure there are other options but it's all about how much you're willing to spend and how far you want to take it.

I am trying to make it be as quick as possible WITHOUT taking away the practical side. This car will be all motor I am probably not going FI...ESPECIALLY after I found out they are coming out with cams and a stroker kit for this car sometime in 2008. Remember this is my daily driver...

I never cut you down for not being a serious racer. Lets say you knock off 50 lbs. You will never notice that on the street whatsoever. Unless you are worried about hundredths of seconds on a timed track event, I wouldnt bother with trying to lighten it up since you are trying to keep it practical.

I didnt think you were cutting me down at all. I see where your coming from also. but 50 lbs I think might make a little difference. Just by having another person sit in my car I notice a HUGE difference. so lets say if I add an average weight of 115 lbs (my girl) in the car. Just that alone i notice a fricken nuts difference. I dunno thats just me. So I would think ok if I go out and get some lightweight rims, carbon fiber trunk, carbon fiber hatch, PLUS the fact that 99% of all performance parts you buy to replace OEM parts are much lighter than the factory parts, I would think I might save the weight of around an extra person on the car, and THAT I can deal with

A good place to shed 115lbs is lose the girl.............JK............there actually seems to be a few areas that will help.........CF hood........light weight rims............pull the spare..........and jack.......no spare no jack.........racing seats.......lighter battery...........all of these are options that leave it fairly stock looking and you lose a good amount of weight............
