Default the low down nitty gritty

the low down nitty gritty on these ebay lites.... i just ordered them this past sat morn, and paypal'd it that second.. sunday morn i got a conformation that they recieved my payment, come monday i recieved the tracking number from EAS, then its sent directly to the US postal service... i just recieved them this morn at 935 am sat morn... now heres where this lousy post gets good..
only tool i needed was the 10mm socket or wrench... and will power which i never seem to have......... go figure
the kit came with 2 glass lower fog lite assemblys a factory switch and a wiring harness.. no instructions....but if u can open a door u can install it.. the install took about 25mins... the switch assembly from the kit is a dead on factory look alike button with a little led to let u know its on when the reg beams are on,, the factory harness plug is about 6inches directly behind the switch panel direct plug no probs, u can even check the switch once its plugd in by turning on the headlight assembly . now for the part i kinda hate.. its about 80plus deg outside and the sun is skinning me alive, so i get out and under the front of the car and look over the situation, there is a factory plug for fogs right under the driver side head lite.. what i did was take 2bolts out from under the fog lite area from under the car, and pulled the panels down and outward and was able to get my install on from there, u need a place to ground the harness behind the grille so i used a bolt that was already grounding out some other wires directly under the DR side headlite.. snapd in the supplied harness plug and ran the wire out the factory fog whole area and a plugd in the wires to the lite assembly, then i pushed the fog lite into the fog recess untill the little metal pins or clips on the back of the lite pop and that was the ok to step back and enjoy the new look,, they look way sharp just like the VRD counterparts... but for a few bucks cheaper,, in all i paid 110 for them from ebay,, which i believe i got a quality product its very well made and sturdy to the touch,, i rarely by things for myself or a car for that fact but... this has to be easy one of the best hundred bucks i have ever spent to make my car look good or atleast a little sportier ....................great product,, sorry for not having any pix, since i spent the hundred for the camera on the fogs....

This is what came in the box. Everything looked great. Shipment came hella quick. Now, i just hope there arent any obstacles installing the fogs.

To XionLion,

Did you follow the vrd install guide?

Great product. Fast shipping. Came in less than a week coming all the way from Taiwan to Hawaii. Great seller, well trusted. Who cares if they arent VRD.

i think they actually are Vrd's. like i said, i asked them if they were knockoffs and they said that they are the manufacturers of VRD fogs.

In other words, vrd buys from them. But if you choose not to believe, then dont.

I just installed them today and had a few obstacles in the way but thats because my friend and i werent too prepared.

here are some pictures of them.

yep there they are. i will have pics up of them actually lit if you guys wanna see the quality. But theyre HIDS. Hopefully i'll get some up by the end of this week. Let me know!!

Nice pics, wish I had seen this thread before I bought mine...I could have saved a lil money. But oh well that's cool, the ones I got are nice and nothing wrong with them at least. I'll take some pics too after I install them later tonight.

Does anyone know if I can use these bulbs in my fogs? Is the wattage too high, they say 70w. Just wanted to make sure before I put them in there.

i like the fact that you're sporting stock rims...they're my favorite. i'll be getting these lights soon...what kind of obstacles did you run into? were they related to your kit or otherwise? did you follow the diy?

lol we just werent prepared. I thought my friend knew how to install them because he knows a lot about cars. But we didnt even do any research or anything like that.

If you follow the DIY guide for any foglights, you'll be fine. it took us like 2 hours but we walso changed the fogs to HID. Along with that, we were taking our sweet time, chillen and talking.
