Now with the fog lights in the bumpers how hot do the lights get. I'm worried I might heat up to badly and damage the paint inside the side vents.

holy crap all of that just went over my head. I don't think I will be getting these cause I didn't understand any of that wiring part. Crap I really wanted these. I was hoping for color pictures of everything and not drawings. Well scrap that idea.

Yeah, Instructions are pretty detailed, plus with the lights in front of you its pretty much fitting the puzzles. If you cant understand it, then I don't know what to tell ya.

Professional Installation? lol.

Also, The fog light wont heat the bumper. Nothing to worry about.

not sure of why you'd really need to pull the switch panel out as pictured..
really no need as you can just push out the blank from underneath when you take off the lower fuse panel cover you mentioned in the step prior.

you really did include redundant instructions like Toyota does in their own accessories.

ya know... first time i opened up a box of those fogs, and looked at the instructions.. i really died laughing when i saw them... but it was really more of a compliment to you as it was just impressive..

and "extra parts" a plus.. like most dealership techs use every single ziptie because they really need to.

lol... yea.. you know some of those Toyota techs.. they really need to remove that battery cable or else they'd kill themselves... (fyi to other people... you really don't need to)

Yeah I think it just looks so complicated b/c I have never done any wiring work. So it is all over my head. The detailed instructions is a good thing. I could prolly get one of the guys in my car club to help me with it. They have done the underseat lighting and all that. So they would prolly be a lot more comfortable with doing it.

as i said before though, there's no wiring work needed

look over the instructions and you'll see that most of it is just disassembling the car in a few places, plugging things in, and putting the car back together.

take a breather and just relax. it's not as complicated as you make it out to be

Yeah ur prolly right. Think my girl is gonna get me these lights for x-mas. The fog lights and vrd grills are all I need to finish my front end. My RS-1 front lip should be here saturday. Gonna look so hot.

Wonder if VRD is gonna try and release some stuff for the xD. I would love to see what they could do for foglights for the xD. Or anything else they could come up with. I would love a new grill for my xD.

Default oem factory fogs with vrd's on 08 tc

ok, i have recieved the vrd's and this is my problem. i want to keep the oem fogs in the lower grill and add the vrd's. installation looks simple, the wiring is my big problem, since the oem's are already taking up the factory harness. how could i wire in the vrd's to maintain a seperate switch and have them operate as advertised. anyone run into this quandry? i do not want to give up the oem's!!!!!
