I want to go with the touring wide body kit but i was wonding what kind/size of wheels would i need to get to fill the gap that it would cause..

another option is to get spacers to space out a narrower wheel to make them look flush with the widebody

I wanted to do something with a crazy lip just wondering if it was able to be done on a decent budget

get lik a 5mm or 10mm

a 10mm is kinda a lot

jus get really wide rims

##x8 or ##x9 or even ##x10's but they gonna be hella expensive.


check out that red TC with the wide body kit, his rims at 19x9(f) and 19x10(r). dunno the offest.

Not quite... Here is the setup on the Red Widebody:
Wheels and Tires
19x10.5" custom fabricated one-off HRE 540 wheels with a 3.5" Polished lip
19x11.0" custom fabricated one off HRE 540 wheels with a 4.5"Polished lip
245/40/19 451K Tires - fronts
275/30/19 451K Tires - rears

We used 1" front and 1.5" rear on our widebody tC w/ 20x7.5" wheels



We got the wheel spacers from www.wheeladapter.com

now if i use a spacer i would have to get extended wheel studs correct?

it depends on how the fender is done. after your flare is done take some measurements. Thats the only real way of msking sure.

you might get more torque steer with wheel spacers....

You'd be surprised with how many shops that do flares and you don't really get as much space as you were looking for.

I went through that on my car.
It would have been better for me to choose a wheel/tire combo first, give it to my body shop and said....do the fenders and make this fit.

Instead, when my new wheels arrive, I'll likely have to go back and get things reworked somewhat to get things to fit perfect.
