hey everybody,
so my glass wind deflector (the piece in front of the sunroof)shattered because of hail recently and i'm looking for a replacement piece. the dealer is quoting me at 399 plus tax to fix this lol. my local autoglass place says that they can do the install for 65 if i can find the glass. i find it hard to believe that this tiny piece of glass is worth over 300 bucks. it seems that alot of ppl shattered theirs because of road debris.

SO, if you had your glass wind deflector shattered what did you do?
dealer replacement?

i saw that somebody on here replaced it with lexan and that seemed pretty successful.

u cud go to the junkers, look for it, if pull it.

get the glass shop to install it... cheaper than $300 IMO!

 

Did you ever get it fixed? What did you end up doing? I'm in the same boat.

 

i just noticed mine is shattered too. went to the dealership and they said around 650 for parts and labor
