Default Window deflectors/visors question!

Hey guys, planning on purchasing some window visors. Did a little research on it on this forum but mostly talked about WeatherTech and AVS brands. Heard that I can get some at the dealership so gave them a call and said they can order aftermarket window visors from WeatherTech and Vent Shade for around $80 a pair. I haven't seen too much info about Vent Shade so if anyone has any info, share the wealth. My question is: Should I order it myself? If so, what's a good brand that won't damage my windows in anyway? Links from where they can be purchased would help as well. Thanks yo!

I have weathertech visors and i love them, they're a perfect fit! window goes up a bit slower but you can leave them open a crack anyway so it's not like you roll them up all the way with these things. but it won't break your window or anything. i ordered mine directly from weathertech's website.

Well I would go with AVS or weathertech. Weathertechs go all the down the window in front of the mirror while the AVS stop short. Do not buy them from the dealer they will charge more because they have to make money. Here is a link for weathertech

For avs look on autozone.com they have them for 39.99 and for the weathertechs, go directly to the site i saw them for 54.99 with free shipping i think. Just go look to be sure.

^^That is a good price for avs. You have to pay shipping at weathertech.com but it comes out to be the same price as their ebay page.

I got mine here.. http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...6&parts_id=684

$42.50 !!!!

They use the 3M take and fit perfectly. as soon as I got them i ripped them out of the box and put them on the car without thinking to look at what brand they were. But I'm gonna guess they are WeatherTech. They work perfect and look good if you have tinted windows. blends in nicely

^the weathertech go inside with the window, not with double sided tape on the outside like that ones you ordered.

Just get a set of weathertechs, they're the best imo. The kind that just 3m tape on the outside of the door just look tacky to me.

what about the ones that use 3M tape but inside the window channel? ice seen some one ebay and their from a brand called Wade. they work just like weather tech but they also use 3M to supposedly securely fit inside the window channel. ive read that some people who have weather techs said that after a year or two theirs started becoming loose and eventually came off.

Thanks for the comments guys. Looks like its Weathertech ftw BUT that last statements from dejablu3 is making me rethink lol. I dislike how AVS comes short. I got to admit I did hear about WeatherTech's cons. There are people who did have success with it so hopefully I'll get the same result. I will give it a shot. My friend has a RSX and he ordered Window Visors for it that had 3mm tape on it. Looked good on his car but I guess its different with 3mm tape on a TC. I will give weathertech a shot and see how it goes. I just don't like the idea of how it slows down the windows. I like to have it all smooth. I will post on the same thread after I get my WindowVisors.

do the Wade in-channel visors go all the way down past the mirror like the weathertechs instead of stopping above the mirror like other visors out there?
