Default window tint percent

whats a good window tint percent for the two rear windows and the hatch window so i could still clearly look out the window (not too dark) while still having a good look to it?
thanks

I got 5% Blue metallic, but sounds too dark for ya. Maybe around 30% would work for you.

The percentage indicates visibility, thus the lower the percentage, the darker the tint. I'm gonna get 25% hatch and backs, 75% fronts.

personally i think 20% all around is the best. although it is really hard to see out the back window at night

anything under 15% will be hard to see at night, my 15% is a bit challenging to drive at night in the rain.

My g/f has 18% in the hatch and quarter glass, and 32% on the doors. Looks very good without contrasting to much and nightime visibility is still decent.

I have 5% on my rear window and sides. Took a little while to get used to, but I love it. It blends in to the dark space around the windows.

20% is perfect for me but probably too dark for you. i have a few problems at night.

30-35 sounds like it would fit you. what you really need to do, is go to the place where you're getting it done, see what cars theyve done in the parking lot, and ask if you can see what they look like looking out. it kinda gives you an idea.

not for night but its something. 20 is too dark at night though IMO

my xA has 20% all alround. sadly in cali the legal tint % for the front is 45%. soooo roll down the window when the cops are around.

20% looks good. At night its not too bad, but it can be a problem if your eyes arnt that good or if you're driving around where there arn't any lights. at night nothings better than have no tint, but you gotta sacrafice for the look man.
