Can we get past the vids/pics of a speedometer going a fair amount over the speed limit to "talk tranny ratios"? I mean this is showing nothing since other variables in the equation throw off the speedometer readings between camry and tc.

my 02 camry trans has a sensor in the back right under the shifter cables. tc trans just has a plug there

It's just for reference, and if you read my post, I included tire size as well -- 225-40 on a 9.5 wheel, so they're a bit streched.. 637.2mm to be more precise.

What other variables would you like to clear up?

If there's a sensor for the Camry that doesn't mean you have to have it for the tC right? You should just be able to plug the hole? I have a sale pending in the SL forums, so once I get the money from that I think I'm gonna get a Camry Transmission. Seems like a very good alternative to everyone wanting a 6-Speed.

5th.... My camry trans had me around 3450-3500rpm in 5th @ 90..

My 4th is only a few hundred rpm higher than the tC 5th...

My Bad, I got confused there for a second, lol. Def. would like to hear specifics from someone who's already done it as far as installation? I've done a clutch on my tC so I've had the transmission out. Just wasn't sure if there's anything that I need to know as far as swapping sensors or anything like that? I think this is going to be my winter project
