Default *OFFICIAL* Zero Point Industries Response to slanderous post

I would first like to start off by saying that we have the best customers that any business can have. The emails and AIM telling us to keep our heads up and forget about this entire internet BS truly does help calm the nerves.

ZPIracing was the last company on ScionLife to offer a turbo kit, we posted a preorder offer while the kits were still in development much like every other company offering a major part for a new platform. We do this in part to see how much actual interest is generated for a particular product. The business in return for your patience and waiting for the product to be finished offers a substantial discount. We did project a release date, this was an estimated time of arrival nothing more nothing less. We clearly identified this program to any and all customers who placed orders. We have continued to offer a refund to any customer who is not happy with this process.

We are now the first company to begin shipping kits and yet many of you continue to slander in anyway possible. The question is when will you be happy? Why are you so concerned? We do not understand why actual customers are happy yet non-tC owners continue to post negative threads trying to instigate drama and speculation.

We did not lie or misconstrue anyone, we are shipping kits, we are installing kits, these are the facts. We do not make fake tracking numbers and we do not lie on web forums. The worst that we may do is post anticipated info due to our own excitement about getting kits out. Sorry, we are car enthusiasts before we are business men. If this info turned out to be false there was no fraud intended, only wishful thinking. We have changed the final design of this kit 3-8 times. This causes delays, when our customers that have had the kits for a while tell us of a concern we correct it. The final kit is awesome nothing short of it. We are 100% happy with the product and will continue to offer great products for the tC. We will not continue to defend the integrity of our company and employees any longer. If you are not satisfied with our products or support simply do not purchase our products. We will continually strive for innovative ideas and new items to continue our customer’s projects along as their desire for more power increases.

In short we are here to stay. The haters can continue to bash as they always will. It is much easier to hate than it is to say “hey thanks for the great product” we know this. If you do not like us or the products we offer there are other great companies that offer similar products that will help your project along. We are always here for our customers. Tonight on a Sunday at 10:30 pm is no different. We are continually building on our customer support as we grow into our position in the Scion community. We hope that you who have not had any first hand experience with us will at least make the decision for yourself and not let the misdirection of others chose for you.

We again want to thank our customers and those who have dealt with us even if you did not purchase anything, for standing up for us through this obvious attack on our character by those who would like nothing more than to see us fail, and apparently are dedicated to such a cause.

Again, thanks to those of you who continually support us and our venture into the future of Scion performance.

-Kenny

I just want to clarify one thing - ZPI is the last turbo that offered a preorder and is the first that is shipping.

Dezod's turbo is actually the last one being developed and spotlighted on ScionLife but they're not offering a preorder so they are not really relevant just yet.

**whispers** You couldn't have a good business w/o them. **done**

Everyone needs haters, it makes you work harder if you really want something. I would rather someone put off getting something out because of modifications for the better, just keep me in the loop of things. Don't try to sugarcoat things, just give it straight.

I've never bought anything from these guys, so I don't have a first hand experience, but keep in mind they're producing a turbo kit. I won't want a tubro that was thrown together, take your time to get it right. Blah, I'm done.

thanks for supporting the tC platform.

as for the haters... i've never seen anything like it before. half of them don't even have a tC but waste our time on here posting frivelous comments.

just keep doing what you do and if it's good the customers will be there. i would agree that you shouldn't respond to anyone else's bs posts on here. it's really a waste of time/effort and it dignifies their existence on these boards.

i owe you a beer.

im am 100% behind ZPI. i did business with Kenny and Keisha and i know that they are straight forward. there were issues but they were handled like a good business should handle it.

wanna know why i stand behind them.

because its not everyday that a business will work with you on getting new performance parts as much as kenny did.

i wont say how they worked with me unless kenny wants to come out and say so. just know that they are the #1 scion aftermarket company IMO. and look forward to much more business with them.

seems like you are creating more drama by creating posts like this.

I browse these forums alot and havnt noticed bashing that deserves to be whined about. Lets have fun, stick to the cars, and quit creating uneeded drama.

I have tried to find other forums to discuss the tC but the ones out there just arent populated like scionlife. I wish there was....wouldnt have to listen to this dung.

edit: I support your company, and will buy your products to come. I just cant stand seeing these boards(especially power hungry) with non related crap.

This is all about as messed up as can be. ZPI gets slammed because they "ARE" providing tracking numbers?

Oh, wait, maybe they went thru all the trouble and actually just shipping an empy box with those tracking numbers?

Come on, the worse so far is they were later than planned release by a few months. I was ticked for sure, but when I finally got off of here, called and talked to them directly - Kenny and Keisha kept their word EVERY single time to their best of what they control. ZPI does not tell us everything on here, you need to talk to Kenny directly and stop trolling.

The turbos are shipping, the tracking numbers are real and they will get caught up with all the orders.

Now can we get back to power mods for our TC? How about how these turbos install? How they perform? Any tweaks, changes, etc?

i second the beer, a month or so back kenny was nice enough to help me out with a couple of problems i had. i bought my s-pipe from someone other then zpi who happened to total his car before the pipe got to him. the kit was missing hardware and kenny shiped it right out to me even though i didn't buy the pipe directly from him (which i thought was pretty cool) and to top if off he even called his head tech to help me out with a problem i was having with my car running in a "safe mode" which turned out to be a MAFS problem.

Try to blow some of it off ZPI. I am happy as hell to see your stuff coming out for the tC and hope to see good results. What many have to keep in mind (and it is painfully evident by reading many of the posts here) is that there are a bunch of kiddies, and adults acting like them, that have zero understanding of business, let alone the R&D process. I come from a technical background, growing up with my hands under hoods, doing custom woodwork, then growing up to work in engineering projects ranging from IT projects to satellite communication systems, and I can say in ALL that I have done, getting the R&D done from start to finish is a monumental task in almost every new design. People sit back and arm chair quarterback everything. There are tons of people that will never be satisfied, they want it perfect, they want it now, and they just cant understand why the company has to make a profit.. cause "they could build it cheaper themselves". Those people will never stop complaining and show very little hope of any real common sense whatsoever. So keep doing what you do and try to keep that professional attitude towards the naysayers. If your product performs they will all be b!tching then because they didnt order one sooner Hell, the only reason mine isnt ordered is due to moving the fiance and her son in this month... once my wallet recoups a bit you will probably be hearing from me as well :D

Well said, ZPI. People grumble and whine too much about nothing. Unfortunately most people are quite ignorant to most things that are cars, and don't [care to] understand the process behind anything. Plus, they don't even have the money or the car (as you said) to open their mouths.

Every e-mail I've sent has been quickly replied to, with helpful and accurate information. Something most companies are allergic to.

I highly respect your company as you have indeed stuck to your word. You have my business in the near future.
