cool, thanks definitely an improvement. You just removed the stock resonator with the 30" and left the 2nd cat stock?

 

yup...i only had the TRD on for the video...my exhaust is all stock from the s-pipe back except for the larger resonator

 

why did you go back to stock?

 

because it was my exhaust. we just put it on for the vid so we can show how it sounds with that setup.

With the resonator did the sound level go down, or did it just get rid of the rasp and the tone was still as loud?

 

Im back to stock exhaust now and it is very mellow. My intake seems to be the loudest part of the system now actually. I would say the car sounds very close to stock but just a little louder. More than anything the resonator gets rid of the rasp but does a little bit of muffling as well.

 

i put on a straight pipe exgaust with a resonator tip, and compared to the other tcs that are straight piped, it sounds alot cleaner and it only cost me about 20 more. Although i am cuttin it off to install an actual exhaust, the resonator is a must have for me... that car sounded sick!!!! keep up the good work
