Default '06 OEM header on an '07

Alright, kind of a complicated question, can't find the answer ANYWHERE...The '07 tCs don't have the nice deep note that the '05-'06 tCs have, its more like a civic (I think because the stock '07 exhaust manifold runners are longer and equal length more like the aftermarket ones), so I'm wondering if putting the older header on (with unequal runners) will change the exhaust note? The WRX is deep and rumbly because of mainly the unequal length headers (correct me if I’m wrong, and of course there are other factors such as the firing order and the boxer layout). So does anyone have this/heard this setup/know if this will do the trick/have any ideas? Thanks.
BTW I have the '06 header (but not installed), and I know it will fit.

Well, after saving up and installing an exhaust and the header, I can officially say it sounds like the '05-'06 tC!

No, they are slightly different in their design
But since nothing else changed, technically they should be interchangable.

Idk, but for the most part on all the videos of the ones I've watched, there is a difference in the exhaust notes. Here's a few examples:

The '07s:
