Yo, I said it was her best, Not her constant.

I'm trying to find a time slip of the turbo tC that ran a 12 flat on slicks with LSD (with 320+whp).. I remember his 60' times were in the 1.9-2.0 range. hmm, weird huh?

Im not trying to take anything away from your run. As the previous poster said there had to be an error with the computer if the printout actually showed a 60' time like that.

It is just not possible.

It's possible that there was a timing error on the 60' time. There I SAID it for you. When I get home, I will go through the countless time slips to see what the average was. I would say it was somewhere around 2.3-2.4. We had the track all to ourselves, so between the both of us, the tC ran down the 1/4 about 30-40 times. So, I have a lot of slips to go through. I noticed on the 1/8 mph times, they were off(Only on the Right lane of the track). But nonetheless, she rocked it out hard this weekend, and I'm proud of her. HELL....She brought us home a trophey and a FREE turbocharger, not to mention other Free stuff.

Sounds cool when you consider it weight reduction. But it's more like $1200 price range though.. (the things we do to go faster)

Yeah I know. Walter came and took 1st place for N/A xA. By default of course seeing as he was the only one. Wish you could have made it, so he would have had at leat 1 competitor to run his xA against.

Ignore the truth if you want.. All we're doing is trying to clear up these false times.. I'm not saying either of you guys made up the times, but there is a problem with both runs.

You didn't hit a 1.9 60' on stock tires (especially how you described the run in the other thread you created). If you don't want to listen to me, listen to the other 20 people that told you that.

And now this, a 1.5, which is even more unbelievable. slicks or not.

I hit 1 2.2 60' after 40-50 passes on stock tires. most of them are 2.3's.. look around on the board, everyone pretty much does the same, we all have the same car.

to do better then that you're going to need more power or more traction.

Sorry, but I don't believe that time. We've proven that your 60' time is off, so most likely it's going to throw off other times like 9.2 in the 1/8, and 14.8 in the 1/4..

Let's compare this run to a SC'ed tC with the pulley, intake, exhaust, header, s-pipe, and a few other mods. (by the way, this is the fastest SCed tC on scionlife, normally it doesn't even run this great of a time)

SC'ed + more mods tc:
60' = 2.166
330 = 6.022
1/8th = 9.222
MPH = 79.45
1000' = 11.980
1/4 = 14.336
MPH = 96.20

Can't you see that your times aren't right?? The only time that makes sense there is the trap speed of 88.. everything else is wrong.

people people, give it a rest. say "good job, that's awesome" and leave it at that.

and for argument's sake, there are way too many factors to compare times, considering differences in weight, tires, temperature, and driving skill.

so, GOOD JOB AND ENJOY YOUR TURBO :]

HAAHAA.... There is a hater on SL every time you post something. Damn bro, don't take it personal if you can't drive as good.

FYI...Having more power does not necessarily mean you are going to pull better times. If you CAN'T drive, well KIDDIE...YOU CAN'T Drive.

eeeeeeeeeexxxactly! Thank you sir. Some people will never learn. They think just because someone did a time in KY that it can be duplicated in say....NY. Different temps, different climate, humidity, tire pressures, weights, etc... We are talking about 10th's of a sec here. It's all up in the air. I know one thing, the times started dropping more and more as we practiced. Everyone where dropping times down with each run, until they found their consistant #'s.

Now if I said we were constant high 14's, I would be a liar. But I said we dipped into the 14's. The Jersey boys were clicking constant high 14's.

What does this mean? If you are talking about the guy with a SC not knowing how to drive, I wouldn't quite say that since he has the best time on this board for a SCed tC.

If you're trying to say something about my driving: I actually hit a better 1/8th time then your best run (no quarter mile track around here).. I only have intake & header, still on stock tires. Time slips are in my profile.

No weight reduction, full interior, and a 12" sub with box.
