Default 1/4 times with ZPI stage 0 turbo?

I bought an 06' silver tC today and Iam trying to learn more about the stuff avaiable for it. I like the ZPI turbo kit and was wodering if the tC would run 13's with it. I figure yes since the srt4s at the same weight and hp/tq have about 220-230whp stock and run high 13s.

depends on the driver, but 230-240whp is a 13 second car

230whp stock on a srt4?? I thought that was base?

Either way...13's is a decent time. Hopefully w/ alchy and stage 1 it'll be 12's possibly on street tires?

eveh w/ the alchohol? Previous posts show over 400lb/tq. How mcuh would that compensate for the traction, etc issues w/ street tires/

i imagine there would be a lot of traction issues with the pos re92's low to mid 14's would be my guess with the stock tires.

edit: 13's would definitely be within reach with better tires.

mattssi: a big part of your times have to do with your 60'.... your trap speed may be very high with that setup but you'll be spinning for too long to get a decent time. you could actually adjust your boost controller to have a low boost setting so you can launch at low boost then switch to high boost but unless you get a nice BC that could be dangerous (changing boost while trying to pilot a car down the track... you may twist the **** a little too high)

or you could avoid that and get some drag radials lol

GReddy makes a top of the line unit that allows you to control all of that autonomously. Just program the unit and you can have it adjust boost levels based on speed or RPM or whatever. It also works with fuel, N20 and other things.

There was a CRX doing some incredible numbers - 10's or something but in order to pull that number, the driver had to continually hit various buttons in the right sequence to minimize wheel spin and maximize power just short of the engine's and the transmission's and the tire's limit. The end result was 10's only on a really good day. With this unit (I forget what it's called) he's able to get 10's all day everyday.

The question is who's willing to fork over all that? I wanna see that thing on a tC doing 10's but I would never buy it myself.

I had a blitz sbc-ID which had a lot of options in cluding a per-gear boost. Looks like I will have to purchase one again! d'oh ;0

it would not be possible for a tc to run a 10.... can you imagine how fast you'd have to go? well the tC tops out at 127, so unless you add another gear, you ain't gonna get 10 seconds.

what 60' times are you guys getting on street tires? slicks?
I would get 1.8-1.9 on 225/50/15 drag radials in the srt4

I loved that car and was going to buy another one; but, I like the way the tC looks and drives better.

With these cars I would think 230whp and anything <2.0 60' would be in the 13s.

Stage1 comes with an emanage for tuning.

What does Stage0 use?
