first off.. he said no FI. second, brembo doesnt make a BBK for our car, show me that they do and ill revoke that statement.

ANYWAYS.. you have a great list already, i mean you are gettin top of the line parts but some really arent necessary. the only thing that i wouldnt suggest getting is the draxas exhaust system.. you can get a magnaflow cat back with whatever s-pipe you want and either way your gonna have to add a resonator unless you like rasp.. so its up to you

but if you want ot spend all that money on that.. then you have yourself an A+++ LIST

I just have been seeing great reviews on the draxas system..and since it already has a cat and resonator welded in...i wouldn't have to worry about rasp too much with the header...

thats not necessarily true.. the stock exhaust has both and it still has rasp.. you will need a larger resonator, and to be honest, if i pay 700 for an exhaust , i wouldnt want to cut it

I like to go with parts that have been proven to be reliable and show gains rather than just throw any part on my car..

There is no rasp with the draxas exhaust system and an aftermarket header.

personally i would do

injen cai
mmw headers
megan racing catback exhaust
tein coilovers (which ever one is in your price range at this point)
ingalls stiffy

then save what i have left.. or do some exterior mods.

You'll notice more out of a Fidanza Flywheel than anything on that list.

And since you're 5-speed, you can do it~

i would just go FI if you are already planning to spend 2-3 grand on performance. its best bang for buck performance wise, and then you can go and get some suspension stuff as well and you'll have a faster and nicer handling car.

i would skip the hotchkis stage 1 suspension. I thought that I would be happy with my s-tech's, and i was for a couple months, but nowadays I want the car 1/2" lower in the front and another inch or a little more lower in the back. Coilovers are the only way to do it. Take a look at ALOT of pictures and make sure you want springs and will be happy with them or you'll be throwing money away when you upgrade to coilovers like I will be. Hotchkis springs are more even than s-tech's, but they still aren't low enough for my taste. Throw a PM over to dave @ importkustomz and ask him about his special ksport coilover pricing that he's running. You'll be pleasantly surprised ;) The hotchkis sways are still a great addition though. I still recommend getting those ^^

If you have any $$$$ leftover after that, a ZPI stage 1 head wouldn't be a bad idea.

That looks like a very good list. I would also suggest a lighter flywheel and better tires. Throw all that stuff at your car and you will see a night and day difference

I don't know if you saw the thread, but I remember seeing major fitment issues with the MMW header. Each one is custom built by hand, and about 50% they fit correctly. A bunch of people were having major issues.
anyone have the link to the thread?
