Well, for port matching I would recommend a professional.

Might as well compare for prices in other places. People who also know about this. ZPI might be good, but u can check for the same or better quality in other places. If the person is GOOD enough, then the port will be VERY beneficial.

ok, so you went from turbo vs na to:
--Kaminari Lip Spoiler ($400)
--Kaminari Reverse Cowl Hood ($600)
--Motegi Traklite Rims - Bronze ($2000)

You are spending half your budget on non go-fast stuff.

and fwiw i think your original laundry list for turbo were a bit..optimistic at 275 so that wasn't really an apples to apples. no gauges, no cooling components.. i don't know what psi you were shooting for...this is a daily driver, right?

I see that the wheels are $2000 do those come with tires? Tires are a really important part of making or breaking a car.

Im giving mad props to your choice!

I mean this is a tc, and we know its never going to be amazingly fast,(with out F/I) which people with daily drivers probley dont want to deal with. (including myself)
I think that some basic engine mods, such as the I/H/E plus some pulleys and new tires, its a good goal to shoot for. then id spend some money on cosmetic parts (rims, lip kit, audio) all in all i believe the choice you made was a good one.
keep us posted on how it all goes !!!

Then I suggest reporting this thread to the mods, since the Title is a misleading one.

Maybe later u can give me some blue prints for that ITB setup, so I can start building myself one. Since I'm going N/A, then this will work out for me in the end. :D

its not that hard.. ITBS are off a yamaha... flange was made from a template i made from the intake manifold. copy the design of the k20's ITB from perrin. maf placement on 4 tube with an extension going out. golden eagle vac block for a one source for the vac lines.. pretty much it.. all u need from that is making a plate that runs all 4 butterflies off 1 rod connected to the servo that opens and closes from the DBW system..

i have the turbonetics stage 1 turbo and i was n/a for a long time before and i never thought i would have had to spend more on gas now than i did, i get 21mpg at best now, used to get 30mpg and i had a custom midpipe hks exhaust, mmw header, injen cai, unichip, nst pulleys, and i was only pushin 167hp and 163tq and i spent just about what you are goin to i would just wait for the turbo so that you see a beter gain for alot less spent

You think the clutchmaster stage2 is overkill?
